Filter

An attribute or similar used to select products e.g. brand, price or on-sale.

Filter Values

An option in a filter e.g. adidas, blue.

Filter Templates

A global definition of how a filter is to be displayed.

Filter Sets

A set of filters e.g. brand & colour & price. These can use filter templates or can customise the filter for this set only.

Global Filter Set

A filter set which can be applied to all pages automatically.
